When I got up this morning I didn't say to myself "I think I'll waste my weekend away and bag up all the leaves in my yard". When I cut my grass I don't think to myself, "I bet it would be loads of fun to stop every strip and empty the bagger on my mower". This sort of thing just doesn't happen.

We'd like to say we're always ready to get the job done, but in fact bagging is not as necessary as some people may think. You're actually robbing your lawn of valuable nutrients when you bag the grass clippings. Grass is about 80% water. When you cut the grass it's just like watering it!

Now we've covered the why you shouldn't bag your clippings, let's face the facts. There are going to be times when bagging must be done. Letting leaves sit on the grass can change the PH balance in your lawn and make it far from healthy. Leaves block sunlight from penetrating to the grass below it and slowly starve your grass by keeping it from producing food.

It's always better to mulch the leaves than to bag them. You want to leave at least 1/2 inch of exposed grass above the mulched up leaves. Always break the leaves down with a rotary type mower until they are smaller than a dime in size. What's left we'll put in a bag for you.

Bagging is available in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Milton, Pace, and Perdido. Live outside of our area? Give us a call and we'll see if we can work your area into our schedule!

Bagging is a per bag price of $8.00 per bag. Bags are heavy duty 50/55 gallon type.*
